How does the system give me air conditioning and heat?

Our concept is different from other idle reduction systems on the market. The unit is a heat pump system which provides cooling and heating, and does not integrate into the main engine at all.

 

Where would I mount the auxiliary power unit?

You have few choices, depending on your truck. If you have a minimum of 27 1/2" of open rail space, it can go between the tank and the rear tire. The other place is behind the cab. Be sure to allow for the trailer swing to avoid damage.
 

How does the EAS unit perform in extreme tempatures?

When the temperature outside the cab of your tractor is between 100-110 degrees, the auxiliary power unit should maintain the sleeper area of your tractor to 72-74 degrees.
 

Is the unit covered by a warranty?

There is a two year manufacturers warranty on the engine. Other major components are covered by a one year manufacturers warranty.
